A professional motocross racer, Joël competed most recently in the J-Race Racing Team on a Honda CRF450R in the 2014 Motocross World Championship. In motocross he found his perfect physical and mental challenge, but one year ago a crash at the MXGP of Italy gave him a whole new set of challenges as he learned to deal with life in a wheelchair.
